114TH AVIATION COMPANY ASSOCIATION EVENTS

Don Airhart Memorial Golf Tournament: Bus will depart from Reunion Headquarters at 8:30 AM on Friday, May 25, 2001 for the Eagle Knoll Golf Course. This is a Golf Digest Award, 18 hole golf course located south of Columbia. Indicate on the Registration Form if you want to participate. Fees will be collected prior to departure from Reunion Headquarters.

Mixer: Hors D’oeuvres will be served at Reunion Headquarters on Friday, May 25th from 4 PM to 9PM.

Membership and Ladies Meetings: Meetings will be held at Reunion Headquarters, Saturday, May 26^th, from 8 AM to 9:30 AM.

114^th Aviation Company Memorial Service: The Service will be conducted at the Shelter Insurance Gardens, Sunday, May 27^th, 8:30 AM. Bus transportation will be available from Reunion Headquarters.

Banquet: The Banquet will be held at 6:30 PM, Sunday, May 27^th, at the Ramada Inn. Bus transportation will be available from Reunion Headquarters. Cash bars will be open at 5:30 PM.

LODGING INFORMATION

Days Inn is located near exit 124 of I-70 (Stadium Blvd) in the Southeast quadrant. Turn South on Stadium Blvd then Left at I-70 SW (the last of the cluster of stoplights at the interchange). Motel is two short blocks on the right.

To make reservations (May 23-27):

If all Days Inn rooms have been reserved (150 rooms are being held) call Ariel Beltey at Days Inn Sales (573) 445-8511 x504. She will make reservations at the Travel Lodge at the same rates. ($39.95 double; 34.95 single)

AIRLINE TRAVEL

Discounts (10% off the best fare if reservations are made at least 60 days prior to travel) are available with United Airlines to Kansas City or St Louis and TWA with TWExpress to Columbia. Airline fares are generally lower to Kansas City.

Columbia based Ozark Airline has commuter service to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and to Chicago Midway Airport.
TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORTS TO COLUMBIA

Car Rental: Arrangements have been with Avis to be the official Rent a car for the 114^th. Special meeting rates apply if you use AWD # J659853 when making reservations. Airport Shuttle: There are two Airport Van Services that operate from Columbia to both airports. One way rates in the low to mid $30.00. Group (more than 1) discount of $5.00 to $10.00 for additional passengers available. You can call for reservations that will connect with your airplane.

Weather — Generally good with temperature from high 80's to low 50s. Three to five day weather system cycles during May. Air varies from warm and humid to cool and dry. Showers and thunderstorms a possibility with frontal passage. The nicest weather comes less than a day after frontal passage.
