I've firmed up the SGM Don Airhart Memorial Golf Tournament outing for September 12, 2013, at 0900 hours at the Thousand Hills Golf Course.  The cost will be $39.00 per player that includes the green fees and cart.  There also is a box lunch available for those who would like one at $7.00.  It consists of a turkey and cheese on wheat bread, fruit, chips, a drink, and cookies.  Pretty much the standard fare for those of us who have played the tourney before.  We should be leaving the Clarion at 0800 to get to the course, which is about a five minute drive, get set up, hit a few practice balls, and get loose before a shotgun start.  We will be playing a best ball four man scramble.  That means each man hits then the team selects the best shot and each man hits again and so forth until the hole is completed.  It should be a great time and a chance to have your names on the plaque.  I'm getting a little tired of having my name on it (NOT).
